Family is Tough

Family is really hard dudes. Especially in laws. All they want to talk about is the family member they lost, that YOU lost. I mean don’t get me wrong, I get it. What else are you supposed to talk about?

If anyone has any advice, please reach out. I would love some input. I’ve gotten to the point where if we aren’t going somewhere in public, I’m avoiding spending time with them. That makes me sound like a bitch probably, but helping my grief is talking about my late husband in a positive, unprompted way. I can’t sit around and continue to cry about him. It’s not good for my mental health and I know it’s not what he would want.

I may have rambled and repeated myself, but sometimes the more I say it, the easier it is to cope with

…until next time

keep your head up and NEVER feel guilty or like a “bitch” because you KNOW handling something a certain way is bad for your mental health. That is HUGE that you can recognize it and it is HUGE that you live for your late husband. Everyone handles grief and loss differently. YOU DO YOU! Keep living and taking it one day at a time. You are worthy. You are loved then, still and will be. Never forget that.
